Frequently asked questions.

Who can teach this program?

We have designed this program to be taught by anyone passionate about bringing homestead education to their community. Whether you are a former or current teacher, farmer, homesteader, a parent, or someone who wants to see a brighter future and form of education for our children, we want to help you make this program fit whatever is needed. We have so many tools and resources, and are happy to work one-on-one with you to make what you have available to you work with this program.

Who can learn from this program?

Our home program in southern Vermont at Meadows Bee Farm offers educational programming for 5-10 year old’s. After 20 years of farm education, this is what works for us. We lump all ages together in order to challenge our littles, and allow our big’s to rise to the occasion to mentor and help teach those who need the extra support. With this said, these lessons can be tweaked to cater to any age. We are willing to brainstorm ways to make this program work for ages all the way up to high school, with any learning ability. This is the kind of learning everyone can benefit from.

What is the cost to start?

We are still developing this program, and so at this time we are only asking to cover the cost of what it takes to make the 7 badges we offer per student at $10 a badge, as well as shipping ($70+ shipping per student). The binder we offer filled with printed and organized curriculum, lesson plans, tools and more is included in our this offer. We welcome testimonials and additional donations if you love what we do and want to further support! You can do this on our donate page in the menu on top of the website.
